I must ask as my internet connection is quite slow and I'd LOVE to try this out- is there support for 32 bit operating systems?

You don't need an internet connection, displaying the map via internet is an optional feature but does require a good connection unless you use low quality maps.

Without an internet connection you can just display the map on a screen and use it locally. Regarding 32 bit, it should not be a problem, just download it for 0$ and try it out :)

Well golly, I'm gonna give it a shot then, thanks! Not many pieces of software support 32 bit nowadays, which while understandable, is kind of a shame.
